Main Purpose
The primary purpose of this role is to collate and
check all invoices and ensuring accurate and timeous
payment for all vendors in accordance with the
company's policies and procedures. Assist to ensure
an efficient standard of communication and service is
maintained at all times to both the business and
suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
Receive invoices and verify if all information on the
invoices are correct
Review and verify if invoices received meet all the
requirements for claiming VAT
Processing of all invoices on accounts system
Ensure that all invoices are posted on accounts system
Reconcile the creditors statement to the analysis
Follow-up on all queries relating to the outstanding
invoices
Follow-up on all open Purchase Orders on accounts
system
Ensure that communication is maintained with
Procurement, Suppliers and Cost Centre Managers
Process all merchant settlements, collections,
customers refunds and manual creditor payments
accurately and timeously
Prepare weekly creditor reconciliations for the
creditor payment run
Perform daily loan reconciliation processes
