Requirements:
Professional Nurse with at least 5 years' relevant experience in a hospital environment
Qualification in Critical Care or Emergency Nursing Science is a prerequisite
Advance knowledge of and experience in clinical coding, clinical medicine protocols and hospital care practices
Managed health care experience of at least 2 years is a prerequisite
Sound knowledge and understanding of the private healthcare industry
Strong analytical and data management skills and a meticulous sense for detail
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (excel), database applications and data query tools
Conceptual flexibility
Well-developed communication (verbal, non-verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate complex data analysis solutions at different levels of the organisation in a practical manner
Ability to present information and solutions using appropriate resources in verbal and written format
Basic project management skills
Strong planning and organising skills
Willingness to travel as and when required

Key Outputs:
Set clear unambiguous documented definitions for data elements and monitor the correct and consistent application of these throughout information usage
Ensure correct data elements are used in clinical analysis support
Monitor, audit and analyse clinical data and clinical information pro-actively to identify and address areas of concern and to ensure quality data
Apply clinical and data knowledge continuously to address data queries and conflicts
Research international available data enrichment initiatives and share with the MCI information management teams
Provide health information support to MCI analysts and MCI data warehouse specialists with interpretation and utilisation of data, information, reports and definitions
Provide health information support to users with clinical interpretation of information and reports
Provide health information support in the development of clinical performance indicators for the Group by code translations (German to English) and code crosswalks as needed
Information insight is created amongst users through continuous and effective collaboration and by describing complex concepts in an easy to understand and meaningful way
Report writing should convey complex concepts in an easy to understand and meaningful way
Stay up to date with international patient confidentiality, privacy and security of health information legislations and inform the MCI information teams of the impact and implications thereof when using health information
