consulting services.
They have a young team of highly talented individuals

Main Role:
Our client is looking for an Account Manager who is
capable of managing customers, projects and staff. In
time, you would also be expected to make a strategic
contribution to the direction of the company
The person will want to work in a fast paced, high
energy environment. You should be someone who not
only wants to do what is asked, but who constantly
seeks to improve the process that is followed to
deliver a higher quality product more efficiently.
Importantly, you should care about all the people
involved, both team members and customers.
The right person will be seeking to work with
intelligent, motivated, self driven team players with
low egos, good communication skills and an effective
problem solving approach. You will also be very
conscious of contributing to a positive working
environment. The team must be able to tune into the
needs of customers and their higher objectives to
solve problems where not all the information is readily
available.
With customers scattered across time zones they
often need to work very flexible hours. That being
said, they also spend a fair amount of time ensuring
that they have fun, as working at there can become a
way of life.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales :
Participating in sales campaigns to win business
Achieving consistent growth in existing clients
Account Management :
Managing the client relationship on various levels,
from top management to on-the-ground stakeholders
Sourcing, contacting and establishing relationships in
existing customers; identifying/maintaining the need
for products and services
Keeping abreast of product applications, services,
market conditions and competitive activities
Solutions Engagement :
Ensuring a proper handover occurs with the project
team
Managing scope issues emanating from the inception
phase (i.e. proposal) and assisting the PM with scope
issues during the project phase
Customer Relationship Management :
Developing and maintaining strong key customer
relationships at all levels within the customer base,
with a view to growing awareness and revenue
Being seen as a trusted advisor to all customers,
through consultative engagements and adding value
throughout the supply chain
Representing the client view in all internal discussions
Monitoring and reporting on customer satisfaction
Proactively identifying and managing potential
problems / escalations within the customer base with
appropriate resolutions by identifying high or critical
care plans
Technical:
Developing / maintaining a good understanding of the
Software technology stack
Developing / maintaining a good understanding of
your customers’ technology stacks
Finance:
Achieving and exceeding quarterly and annual revenue
targets within the defined accounts, verticals and
territories
Producing and maintaining regular, timely and
accurate sales forecasts whilst managing pipeline and
an effective and focused business plan
Managing the prioritisation and assignment of work
