Introduction
A highly respected HELICOPTER operation is currently seeking a Chief Flying Instructor for the Mosselbay office.

Minimum Requirements
In order to be considered for the Interview, you MUST have the following qualifications: Current and Valid SACAA certified Flight Instructor rating with Instrument privileges CPL H Grade II Instructor's rating Valid Instrument rating Valid Medical certificate Please note: Preference will be offered to candidates with a valid CPL A and a Grade I DFE qualifciation. The following experience will be required in order to qualify for our shortlist: Minimum 10 years Aviation experience Minimum 1 year experience as CFI or Deputy CFI Minimum 1500 Hours PIC and 1000 Hours DUAL given as a Licensed Flight Instructor The ability to work in a highly structured and challenging environment Excellent English Communication skills (Verbal and Written) Excellent management and leadership capabilities
Job Specification
As the Chief Flying Instructor, your role includes the following duties: To build a sustainable organization, asset base and competent team Compliance with TPM/QSMS and International aviation training best practices Ensure Internal controls address principle risks To provide safe, professional and quality training to customers using curricula approved by the CAA. Use aircraft, simulators and other leading edge equipment to conduct training that focuses on CRM and Aeronautical decision making. Develop and implement flight training curricula which are compliant with all appropriate and applicable CAA regulations Lead, manage and oversee the team of Flight Instructors, and assist them to set and achieve the professional standards and goals of the training school. Evaluate Instructor performance regularly. Manage and control all training records to ensure they are accurate, current and compliant with all appropriate and applicable CAA regulations and other company policies. Research new and improved teaching techniques. Drives and promotes company safety culture.
