Our client, a progressive and expanding manufacturing company, seeks to employ a qualified and experienced Industrial Engineer at their plant in Moorreesburg, Western Cape. Candidates must be willing to relocate to the area, with a view to long term employment with the company.
Please note that due to the customer base, fluency in Afrikaans is essential
The position is ideally suited to a graduate who has completed their P1 and P2 or trainee employment.
This is NOT a senior or mid - careers level position.
Requirements to be met:
A minimum of a National Diploma in Industrial Engineering, coupled with 1-3 years experience in the optimisation of processes and machinery to meet the required standards and legal requirements of the industry.
You will have previous experience in budgeting, process analysis, corrective action planning/implementation as well as automation and equipment improvements to existing facilities.
In addition, you will have proven experience in presenting reports, recommendations and project plans to management for approval.
Working knowledge of the application of relevant legislation and industry practice regulations are essential. Fluency in English and Afrikaans is essential, coupled with having a valid driver’s license and your own reliable vehicle is criticalAdvanced Excel
/ AutoCAD experience is mandatory and previous experience in design is
advantageous.
